About

Backend, mobile & DevOps engineer

Matej Bednar

I built a two-sided marketplace end to end: three React Native apps, a 165-endpoint API, seven background services, and a double-entry ledger moving money in both directions. It runs in three environments, is deployed on AWS from CI, and I took it through App Store and Google Play review.

Tagly

I co-founded Tagly and built the product on my own. We raised $100,000 and onboarded over 5,000 users. I built the three apps, the API and the seven workers behind them, a custom ledger, deposits and withdrawals through Stripe, and owned the deployment pipeline down to the App Store and Google Play reviews. Here are Tagly's biggest achievements:

  • 5,000+Users
  • 20+Paying businesses
  • Peaked at #1CZ App Store, Lifestyle
  • $100,000Raised
  • 165Endpoints
  • 50Database tables

I'm looking for my next job. Building backend and mobile, and designing the systems and pipelines underneath, is what I know best, but I'd also be happy learning a new stack and getting more experience in a bigger team.
